Today’s Tuesday painting tip comes from Ryan Fox’s video workshop, “Innovative Watercolor Techniques:”
In his workshop, Ryan is working with rice paper. But this technique can work for all papers especially when you’re working hard to not damage your delicate watercolor paper.
Rice paper is fragile. If you need to erase a line, use a grey eraser, and instead of rubbing back and forth, gently dab out the graphite. If you rub back and forth, you’ll rub off or tear the rice paper. Or any paper if you’re too aggressive.
